Responsibilities

As Managing Director, you will take full strategic and operational ownership of our site, driving growth and profitability in close alignment with the Exaktera Group. Reporting directly to the COO, you will lead and inspire our local management team and the entire workforce. Your mission is to balance financial stability with a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring that our production processes remain top-tier while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

Main Tasks:
  • Monitoring and reporting company performance to group management.
  • Collaboration with central departments such as Sales, Marketing, Finance, and HR within a matrix structure.
  • Daily management and continuous development of employees at the site.
  • Together with sales, expanding and maintaining customer relationships to secure the market position.
  • Implementing innovative solutions to increase efficiency and drive the further development of the company.
  • Ensuring a safe work environment in accordance with current legislation.
  • Developing strategic plans as well as analyzing financial, sales, and activity reports to increase productivity.
  • Implementation of cost-reduction programs, particularly in the area of bills of materials (BOM).

Your Job Profile

  • Completed university degree in the field of engineering, economics, business administration, or a comparable qualification.
  • Several years of leadership experience with cross-functional teams in an international environment, ideally in a manufacturing company.
  • Sound knowledge of business management, business administration, and project management.
  • Experience in strategic planning, decision-making, and process improvement.
  • Proven success in scaling and sustainable growth as well as experience in managing cost-saving programs along the value chain.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate strategic visions into detailed operational execution.
  • Inspiring leadership personality who motivates employees to achieve peak performance and quality.
  • Solution-oriented mindset as well as a high degree of initiative and sense of responsibility.
  • Pronounced sense of urgency combined with a mentality for continuous improvement and change.
  • Versatile competency profile with a strong focus on operational processes.
  • Identification as an internal ambassador of the group strategy for the effective implementation of site goals.
  • Very good knowledge of English and German, both written and spoken.
